Community Partner for Psychiatric Residency Training

Community training site for UCLA- Olive View Psychiatry Residents in their PGY2 and PGY3s for Outpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The rotation at Child and Family Guidance Center specifically focuses on the assessment, impact and treatment of childhood trauma. Special emphasis on trauma informed multidisciplinary care model with exposure to evidence based trauma therapy modalities, collaboration with ancillary services to address compounding and contributing stressors, and identification and enhancement of mitigating and resiliency factors.
