CFGC’s Community Family Center (CFC) has helped families enroll in Medi-Cal, Covered California and other health coverage programs for more than 20 years. Now, with new healthcare options available, we are expanding this service. Starting in July, along with our on-site health coverage enrollment service in Northridge, CFC began reaching out to many families that are eligible for health coverage for the first time. Our healthcare specialists provide presentations at local schools, churches and community centers to educate families about their health care coverage options. CFC also offers assistance with registration. We aim to educate newly insured families about using preventative healthcare coverage so that they have improved health outcomes.
